1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FixAm ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. About the Platform

FixAm is a directory and marketplace that connects customers with service providers in Ghana. We facilitate introductions but are not a party to any agreement between customers and service providers. FixAm does not employ, endorse, or guarantee the work of any service provider listed on the platform.

3. Provider Verification

We verify provider identities through Ghana Card submission, selfie matching, and reference checks. While we take reasonable steps to verify identities, this does not constitute a guarantee of a provider's skills, reliability, or the quality of their work. Customers should exercise their own judgement when hiring.

4. User Responsibilities

Customers: You are responsible for agreeing on pricing, scope, and timeline directly with the provider. FixAm is not liable for disputes between you and any provider.

Providers: You must provide accurate information during registration. Misrepresenting your identity, qualifications, or experience may result in removal from the platform. You agree to respond professionally to customer inquiries.

5. Reviews and Content

Users may submit reviews and ratings. Reviews must be honest, based on actual service experiences, and free of abusive or defamatory content. FixAm reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not: submit false reviews; impersonate others; use the platform for illegal activities; scrape or harvest data from the platform; attempt to circumvent security measures; or harass other users.

7. Limitation of Liability

FixAm is provided "as is." We are not responsible for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from interactions between customers and service providers. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law.

8. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account that violates these terms, receives multiple credible reports, or engages in fraudulent activity, without prior notice.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
