Add Your MoMo Number to Your Invoices
Save your mobile money number and wallet name once and every unpaid invoice shows customers where to pay. They pay you directly; FixAm holds no money.
Customers pay faster when the invoice tells them where to send the money. Save your mobile money number once in the FixAm app, and every unpaid invoice you send shows it in a Pay to block. The customer sends MoMo straight to you.
Add your payment details
- Open the FixAm app and tap the Dashboard tab.
- Scroll to Money and tap Payment details.
- Type your Mobile money number, for example 024 123 4567.
- Under Account name (optional), type the name on the wallet, exactly as the customer will see it when they send. For example "Ama Owusu" or "Ama Owusu Enterprise".
- Tap Save payment details.
It saves at once. There is no review, because only your customers see it, and only on your invoices.
Use a number that is registered for mobile money. Landlines are refused. You can use a different number from your login number, for example a MoMo number in your business name.
To change the number, type the new one and save. To remove it, clear the number and save. Invoices then show no mobile money number.
Where customers see them
When you send an invoice, the customer's page shows a Pay to block with your mobile money number and account name, under the total.
- It shows on invoices that are still unpaid: Draft and Sent.
- It disappears once you mark the invoice paid, or void it.
- It is never on your public profile, in search or on receipts.
The account name matters. When the customer types your number in their MoMo menu, the network usually shows the wallet name. If it matches the name on the invoice, they know they are paying the right person.
How to send an invoice from your phone shows how to create and share an invoice.
FixAm never holds your money
Customers pay you directly, by MoMo, cash or bank. FixAm does not collect the money, take a commission or hold it for you. There is nothing to withdraw and no fee on what you are paid.
That also means FixAm cannot see whether a customer paid. When the money arrives, open the invoice and tap Mark paid so your records and Earnings stay correct. The app then makes a receipt you can send. Give a customer a receipt explains it.
