Report a Provider or a Business

Report fraud, a no-show, abuse or a fake profile from any pro or business page. Every report is reviewed within 24 hours and your details stay private.

If a pro or a business on FixAm cheated you, threatened you, stole from you or is not who they say they are, report them. You can do it from their profile in the app or on fixam.pro. The FixAm team reviews every report within 24 hours. Your name and phone number are not shown to anyone on FixAm.

When to report

Report when something is wrong with the person or the business, not only the job:

  • Scam / Fraud: took a deposit and disappeared, asked you to pay a different number, used a fake invoice.
  • Theft: something went missing from your home or site.
  • Harassment: threats, insults or unwanted messages.
  • No Show: agreed a time, then never came and never replied.
  • Poor Work Quality: work far below what was agreed, and the pro refused to put it right.
  • Other: a fake profile, someone using another person's photos, or anything else the team should know.

For a job that was only disappointing, a review is usually the better tool. How to leave a review explains it.

If you are in danger, or a crime happened, go to the police first. Then report on FixAm too.

How to report (website and app)

On fixam.pro:

  1. Open the pro's profile and scroll to the bottom.
  2. Tap Report this provider. On a business page, it says Report this business.
  3. Fill in your Full Name and Phone Number.
  4. Choose a Reason from the list.
  5. Under Details, describe what happened: dates, amounts, what was agreed and what went wrong.
  6. Under Evidence, add screenshots, photos or PDFs if you have them. Each file can be up to 5 MB.
  7. Tap Submit Report.

In the FixAm app:

  1. Open the pro's profile and scroll to the bottom.
  2. Tap Report this provider.
  3. Fill in Your Name, Phone Number, Reason and Details, and add Evidence (optional).
  4. Tap Submit Report.

You do not need an account. Screenshots of WhatsApp chats and MoMo payment messages help the team see what happened.

What happens next

You see Report Submitted. A person on the FixAm team reviews your report within 24 hours. They may contact you on the phone number you gave if they need more details.

Depending on what they find, the team can suspend the pro's profile or business page. A suspended profile no longer appears on FixAm, so customers cannot find or contact them through it.

FixAm does not publish reports or show who made one. Your phone number stays private.

Keep in mind what FixAm cannot do: it does not hold payments, so it cannot refund you or settle a price. When a job goes wrong covers your other options. To find a different pro in the meantime, use Search.
